Absentee Bidding An Absentee Bid is any bid placed by a registered user before the start of a live auction event. To place an absentee bid, begin by browsing the catalog and finding an item that you would like to place a bid on. Then follow these easy steps:   1) First, you'll need to register as a Morrell & Company Fine Wine Auctions member if you haven't done so already. It's free, and only takes a couple of minutes.   2) Carefully look over the item that you are bidding on.   3) Enter your maximum bid. Then, click on the "Enter Bid" button. Morrell & Company will now bid on your behalf up to your maximum bid.
